B.A.P (Korean: 비에이피; an acronym for Best Absolute Perfect) is a six-member hip-hop South Korean boy band formed in 2012 under the management of TS Entertainment. The group consists of Bang Yong Guk, Kim Himchan, Jung Daehyun, Yoo Youngjae, Moon Jongup, and Zelo (Choi Junhong).
The members were introduced to public individually. First, it was Bang Yongguk (the leader) who was introduced in late 2011. He was featured in Secret's Song Jieun's song "Going Crazy". The second was Himchan who was the MC of MTV Korea's "The Show". The third was maknae (the youngest) Zelo who collaborated with fellow leader Bang Yongguk, forming a duo "Bang & Zelo". The 3 others were introduced later in B.A.P's first own variety show "Ta-Dah, It's B.A.P" which aired in SBS MTV. The other members are Daehyun, Youngjae, and Jongup.
On January 25, 2012, the group released their powerful and charismatic debut song "Warrior". Through "Warrior", B.A.P showed a tough, bad boy image by smashing car windows, kicking up dirt, and Yongguk & Zelo's satoori (dialect) raps. B.A.P held their debut showcase in Seoul on January 28, 2012.
Each B.A.P album had a rabbit on the cover. The mascot's name is
"Matoki," which is short for "Mask wearing Tokki" (tokki means rabbit in
Korean). On June 11, 2012, Matoki characters reflecting the personality of
each member was revealed on the mascot's Facebook.
Until now, they have released 4 EPs, 7 singles, and 6 music videos. Their released singles are "Warrior", "Secret Love", "Power", "Goodbye", "No Mercy", "Crash", and "Stop It".

Bang Yongguk (방용국)
Yongguk is B.A.P's leader and main rapper. He was born on March 31, 1990. He is also called the "Inversion Rapper". His matoki color is red (Shishimato).Yongguk likes virtuous women. His personality is tough and brusque, but he's a soft-hearted man and he often cries. He is the dad in B.A.P family. Just so you know, Yongguk didn't know how to talk until he was 5 years old. But now, he can talk as fast as he want. His rapping skill is extraordinary. When he raps with his deep voice, every women's heart will melt. Kim Himchan (김힘찬)
Himchan is B.A.P's vocalist, rapper, and visual. He was born on April 19, 1990. He is also called the "Instrument Ulzzang". He can play various Korean traditional instruments. His matoki color is pink (Tatsmato). He is the mom in B.A.P family. Himchan likes kind women. His personality is gentle, peacemaker, cheerful, and a bit hyperactive. On "Ta-Dah, It's B.A.P", Himchan was the general (leader) among the B.A.P Warriors from Mato Planet before replaced by Bang Yongguk who likes war and fight. Jung Daehyun (정대현)
Daehyun is B.A.P's main vocalist. He was born on June 28, 1993. He is also called as "Busan's Won Bin". His matoki color is white (Kekemato). He is the oldest son in B.A.P faamily. Daehyun is known for his awesome high note. He even can reach 8-pitch high notes, while Yongguk can do the 8-pitch low notes. He also known as the pretty boy. Now, he often fights against Himchan to be the group's visual. Daehyun's personality is shy and tough. He can be so determined and cheerful sometimes. Daehyun speaks with a very heavy Busan dialect. Youngjae is B.A.P's lead vocalist. He was born on January 24, 1994. He is also called the "Brain". Youngjae usually has many ideas and thoughts during the episodes of "Ta-Dah, It's B.A.P". He thinks fast and always looks for the solution in every problem. He likes finding things and explaining to the members. He also loves electronic gadget. That's why he's B.A.P's Brain. His matoki color is yellow (Jokomato). Youngjae likes woman who likes him a lot. His personality is calm. He is the real mom in B.A.P family. Moon Jongup (문종업)
Jongup is B.A.P's main dancer and vocalist. He was born on February 6, 1995. He is also called the "Dance Shindong". He is extremely good at dancing. He masters the breakdance movements such as windmill and backward somersault. His matoki color is green (Dadamato). He is the middle son in BAP family. He has no specific ideal woman, but for now, he prefers older women. Jongup is a fan of Chris Brown and respects him so much. He likes weight-lifting and body-building. Jongup often wears sleeveless shirt during performances. He also known as the most awkward kid in the group. He does silly things even in the reality show or broadcast. His personality is shy and awkward, but he changes to a cool guy when dancing. Members often call him "Moontoss" and he often calls Zelo and himself as "Moon and Zelo" (refers to "Bang & Zelo"). Zelo (젤로) or Choi Junhong (최준홍)
Zelo is B.A.P's lead rapper, lead dancer, and maknae. He was born on October 15, 1996. He is also called as the "15-Years-Old-Genius". His matoki color is blue (Totomato). Zelo likes women who good at English and have a pretty smile. His stage name comes from the Greek god “Zelos”, which is the god of
rivalry. He was named that because of how hard he worked
amongst all his fellow members. He loves hip hop and practices for about 20 hours a day. His rapping skill is outstanding. Zelo is known by his super speed rap plus the satoori (dialect) raps. He is also known as B.A.P's "Fighter Robot" because in the episodes of "Ta-Dah, It's B.A.P", Zelo was said to be Bang Yongguk's robot. His personality is introspective.
